The year is 2084. Due to 2 nuclear wars and a nanophage plague, augmentation, virtual escapism and digital enhanced drugs are common place in the slums. This is the prequel to the game '2084'. Cops called observers can hack into the consciousness of people living and dead to access memories, but this causes mental issues and short life spans and some cops have gone psychotic in the past.
