Provided in "The Official Obsidian Strategies & Secrets" guide are sections known as "shrink raps".
These are brief passages that "attempt to alter your frame of mind, make you at one with the game, and help set the general ambiance of the realm." The Shrink Rap sections provide an opportunity for you to get the general feel of the realm "before you try to solve its puzzles on your own."
