This TAS is by no means perfect and there are likely some strats/improvements I could make but I think it's a pretty good comparison.

With Ridley first, you need even better luck with Super drops in Tourian, and also grab the Supers in the lava after Charlie, which costs a little over 9 seconds. The rest of the game is identical regardless of which boss you fought first.

In addition, you need slightly better luck to kill Ridley quickly if you fight him first, as the time he takes between spitting fireballs varies quite a bit and you have 1 less super missile than if you fight Kraid first.

Adding this additional time to Ridley first's Enter Tourian we get 21꞉25.23, which still leaves Ridley first being roughly 30.58 seconds faster.
