https://arcadeheroes.com - Direct capture footage of the very rare prototype restoration, The Spectre Files: Deathstalker. Designed by Brian F. Colin (Rampage, Xenophobe, Arch Rivals, etc.), this game was in development back in 1984/85, cancelled at about 98% complete by Midway after the bottom fell out of the laserdisc market. Apart from the campy horror, this game is highly unusual for an arcade title, given that you can play for a huge amount of time if you make good choices. There is no continue feature though, so you'll have to remember the choices to made and do differently.

Trivia: The woman shown in the thumbnail (Vampiress #1) is Sharon Perry. She was an animator at Midway who was responsible for coming up with the bow on Ms. Pac-Man, among other things (did work on Discs of Tron and more).

This unit is 4 of 10 limited edition units; said units feature the name of the arcade in the lower right corner of the attract mode. The cabinet is modeled after Midway's NFL Football, which is likely the cabinet that this would have used had it been released in 1985. Galloping Ghost Productions is still making these to order for locations (or collectors) interested in having a piece of unique gaming history, although they don't plan on making more than 50 units.
