WARNING: You should have trained every single traveler to the best of your ability, gotten as many pieces of post-game equipment as possible, and learned the right set of Job skills.

(The following tips are my own.)

The Support Skills "Patience" and "Saving Grace" are a MUST in this battle. You can really get banged up over 3,000 HP in one hit due to having to divide your best equipment among all travelers.

There always must be a Cleric (to exploit Saving Grace) and a Scholar (to cover some elements) in one of the two teams each. The Primary Party will face off against one half, while the other will face off against the other half. (I screwed up with not making Therion into a Scholar...which only boosted the adrenaline factor).

The four extra jobs must be used, since they have some of the must useful skills, though you must divide them among the two parties. Making Tressa into a Runelord may be very beneficial to impart her useful Rest skill among all party members for cheap HP, SP, and Status Ailment recovery when using Transfer Rune (and Sidestep). Cyrus works best as a Starseer if a Cleric's Divine Skill boosts him to hit twice per turn.

Go all out with BP-giving items and skills. You do NOT want to stall fights for too long.

...And by the way, I went into this battle blind.

Key Notes:
- ...Because this section is going to be overwhelmed with a lot of info (you can see the detailed info here: https://octopathtraveler.fandom.com/wiki/Galdera), I'll just list the main cheeses:
- General Info: Each phase may use some of the exclusive attacks previous bosses use, such as the Venomtooth Tiger's Poison effect and Esmeralda's death counter.

First Phase
Boss: Ominous Eye (HP: 500,000)
Weaknesses: Daggers, Axes, Staves, Thunder, Light
- That atrociously high HP is the highest HP count in the whole game, and it doesn't really help it's invulnerable to damage until all Souls around it (50,000 HP each) are taken down...which it likes to bring back from time to time.
- And in case you fell a Soul but let another one alive for long, the felled Soul will come back at full HP. You MUST eliminate the Souls almost simultaneously.
- Whenever you can, exploit shared weaknesses to stop the barrage of attacks.
- Screw the eye as fast as you can when it's in the red. It'll go all out by consuming all Souls for more moves and permanent buffs to physical and elemental attack. Also, beware of its Evil Eye move, so use Herb-of-Grace potions.

Second Phase
Boss: Galdera, the Fallen (HP: 180,000)
Weaknesses: Lances, Daggers, Bows, Ice, Light
- You won't damage Galdera until Lyblac (HP: 125,000), Blade of the Fallen (HP: 130,000), and the Abyssal Maw (HP: 120,000) are taken down.
- The Blade of the Fallen is the physical damage dealer, the Abyssal Maw is the elemental damage dealer, and Lyblac is the supporter who gives the Blade of the Fallen status ailments to inflict with its attacks (with a few attacks on her own). Galdera himself supports the other extremities.
- There's a nasty gimmick here. If two extremities are taken down, the remaining one will gain a DEADLY skill in return to make up for it. The Abyssal Maw gains Toxic Rainbow to DECREASE MAXIMUM HP PERMANENTLY IN THE FIGHT, the Blade of the Fallen hits harder and gains two moves per turn, and Lyblac boosts all her stats... As you can see here, take down the maw and the blade first, leave Lyblac for last, and then head for Galdera.
- Apart from Galdera going all out with its attacks and gaining three moves per turn, right after all extremities are taken down, he'll unlock his weaknesses and right after warn you about "The Souls of The Dead Writhe Ominously before you," which is the warning of his big attack for the next turn: Banish Soul. The next turn, either he will reduce your party's HP to 1 and BP to 0...or you manage to break his shield points, which not only stuns him, but it also FULLY HEALS YOUR PARTY'S BP. (Even if you fail and get hit by it, you can still come back to your feet.)
- This is where things will matter. Always keep your party member's fully healed up over 4,000 HP to survive most of his blows. If reviving items are needed, use the best ones so that a KO'd party member comes back with 9,999 HP.
- Good luck...because if you lose here, that's more than an hour lost going through this dungeon allergic of Save Points. Acquire, please.

Watch, enjoy, and comment, everyone.
