Office PC to BUDGET Gaming PC | Sapphire R9 280x | Adapter Molex to 2xPCI-E 8 pin and...
Upgrating old office PC to gaming budget PC.
Moving components from the old case to the newer one due to the space required for the CPU heatsink and graphics card.
I am inserting molex and other adapters because the power supply cables are old and do not fit some components.
In next videos i will hack motherboard and socket 775 so i can insert CPU Xeon E5450 (same as Q9650) that normally fits on 771 socket motherboards because Q6600 is to weak for R9 280x (38.76% CPU bottleneck on FULL HD gaming 1080p.)
Also i will add 3-4 fans in case and make some gaming and heating tests because high temperature is the most common killer of technology.
STAY TUNED ;)
I intentionally use 2x female molex to 2xmale molex and 2x male molex to PCI-E 8 PIN because the more cables the less it will heat up when Graphics Card Running FULL Load. You can use female molex to clock female and male clock to PCI-E 8 PIN.
