Rules:

-You must “sleep” 6-8 hours in a 24 hour period by finding a fire and sitting by it, or by sleeping in a bed or visiting a hot spring. If you fail to you may only equip one handed weapons and must unequip either the shield or the sword/rod
-You must be under a food effect at all times (or at the beginning of the game when that is not possible you must eat at mealtimes, approximately 5-6AM, 12, and 5-6PM). If you miss a meal you may only equip one one handed weapon. If you miss another you must remove a piece of armor, and so on. If you have missed so many that you are naked you must take a ½ heart of damage at each meal time until you eat.
-You must not eat raw ingredients that would make you sick or are inedible. If you do, find a way to take a ½ heart of damage.
-You may not eat in the middle of battle or in situations where it is impossible to eat (such as on the side of a cliff or gliding).
-You must not resurrect with fairies. If you run out of hearts you die and need to start over.
