For the planet Geonosis and the remaining Geonosian Hives, they had been seemingly forgotten since the remains of the CIS engaged both the Rebels and Imperials who had clashed on the planet. Sometime later following the Battle of Endor, an Alliance envoy arrived on the world and would make peace with the Gogum Hive and soon the hive grew with weapons and powers and soon other Geonosian Hives grew envious and jealous and strife began to grow between the Hives. Despite that the New Republic and later the Galactic Alliance kept peace between the Geonosians, but with the devastating Blackspawn outbreak, the envoys became less active and soon the Rival Tribes began to rally against the Gogum Hive and a civil war was on the verge of breaking out. But unknown to the Geonosians, dark forces began to move on the planet hoping to use the civil war to build their own forces as reports of the civil war soon reached the Ossus Academy.
