EDIT 12/13/23: This method still works, but PCem itself is now a bit outdated. I recommend you follow my new 86Box tutorial instead: https://youtu.be/OO91878Sp_I

This is by far the best way to run Windows 95 on a modern computer. In contrast to the past methods I have used, this has near 100% compatibility with old games and programs.

Alternative to: QEMU, DOSBox, Bochs, VirtualBox, Virtual PC, VMware
***NOTE*** PCem is NOT for modern operating systems and software. Please keep this in mind if you continue to use it for other systems. The practical maximum OS is Windows 2000 SP4, but even that is pushing it. I'd recommend Windows 98 SE or Windows ME at the maximum for use with retro abandonware.

EDIT 9/7/19: I would like to apologize for all the comments I never got a chance to respond to. At some point, the stupid YouTube app decided I only needed to see "important" comments. How it decided which comments are important I do not know, but it's pretty awful at doing it.

Here is where you can find Windows 95: https://winworldpc.com/product/windows-95/osr-3
and Microsoft Plus: https://winworldpc.com/product/plus/1995

If you emulate any hardware that is not covered in this tutorial, or you are emulating a newer Windows version, you may need to check this website for device drivers: http://vogonsdrivers.com
I recommend Alcohol 120% or ImgBurn for the creation of ISO images to inject files into the emulated computer (unless the file you download is already an ISO).
