I continue to look around the Research Hall hopelesslly searching for a new path, unfortunately the area is so complexed there are areas I can't seem to get to. Eventually I make my way to the rafters of the Research Hall, and it's a massive drop if you happen to fall. Up in the rafters I discover a kind of crank, not shur what it does but I turn it. Turns out that crank rotates the stairways, leading to both new areas and new dangers. Eventually I locate a key which I used to open a door on the ground floor of the Research Hall, it leads me to the area where I fought the Celestial Embasry, than back to the lift leading back up to the Research Hall. Still without a set path, but progress none the less.
