In this playtest episode of Of Ash and Steel, I explore a brutal and beautiful open-world RPG that refuses to hold your hand. Set in the Kingdom of the Seven, this third-person adventure ditches modern quest markers and lets you truly get lost and possibly found on a once-prosperous island. From dueling with rapiers to marching as a fully armored knight, every encounter pushes me to adapt. There are no shortcuts here only steel, ash, and survival.
