old vanos intake spline rattle (possible cause) and new Dr.vanos anti rattle intake spline

here is my old intake vanos spline, I recently had this rattle between 2k to 2.5k rpm after a 3rd gear pull.

First I thought it was cam bolts so I bought that along with beisan seals, and upper chain guide but after removing my vanos and hubs I found.that my cam bolts are perfectly fine! haven't installed my chain guide yet (will do tomorrow) but I saw the spline had a lot of play.

and as you can see the new dr.vanos rebuilt spline with the anti rattle kit barely had if any play on it while my old one had a lot and you can hear it.


hopefuly this fixes my rattle problem. will update after I get it all back together.
