Devil May Cry 1 speedrun on Dante Must Die difficulty with a new game and Legendary Dark Knight costume.
The most major mistake of this run was losing the SB to the bat plasma in mission 6, which caused me to not be able to afford inferno by mission 11. However I pushed on, and was ultimately rewarded with that mission 22.
This run can definitely be improved, by at least 1 min 30 seconds, that's time just from beating Nelo 2 and 3 with Inferno. I could probably save another minute if I utilise holy waters on mission 10 vs Kyklops, mission 19 vs Nobodies and 2 devil stars vs Mundus 1. My goal is sub hour.
Next I want to a 23 segment run, where I get the fastest possible times I can in all missions and see if sub hour is even possible. If possible, I will focus on a single-segment sub hour, if not, I will be disappointed and probably focus on another category. Probably Normal difficulty.
