Game Description:
The game was released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Mac OSX and Microsoft Windows. It was developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Eidos Interactive in conjunction with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics. It is also the first game of the Batman: Arkham franchise which later consisted of Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Knight as well as Batman: Arkham Origins which was not canon in regards to the other three games.
Synopsis: The game is set in Arkham Asylum, a facility that houses criminally insane supervillains on Arkham Island off the coast of Gotham City. Joker has been captured but of course Joker devises a plan to not only escape but to also make it a night Batman won’t soon forget. Along the way Batman not only must stop Joker but must also make his way through a series of challenges that make it not as easy a fight as expected. The game features a large ensemble of characters from the history of Batman comics. In the asylum, Batman is faced with several supervillains; Bane, Victor Zsasz, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow as well as the Joker.
