in this short, we will be investigating a firmware issue on the Olight Ostation X charger, which we are obviously not alone. the version V3.0.0 firmware update caused a major issue, which is has us all think it bricks our charger, but we seem to have found a way around this somehow.

this is not a "How To" short, neighter is it a tutorial. this is rather a "How we" kind, where instead of guiding how to do a certain goal, we share our investigation through our attemps, in this case with this charger.

we are also looking for confirmations, which is why we'd like to contribute some information with others who own an Olight Ostation X at V3.0.0. for this one, we want to know if our method works for anyone else, that way we can get closer to the initial issues together.
