Omega Flow (Hard Demon Layout) by DiceGames (me) || Geometry Dash
8WOW! This layout is definitely one of my new best (I know I say that a lot, but I definitely love this level). The gameplay was created to be fast-paced, enjoyable, and exhilarating at the same time, with lots of quick transitions, and some speed changes. I've ALWAYS wanted to make a layout with this song, and it seems my chance arrived.
Back in 2018, I was on a trip in The Netherlands, and I was playing GD with my cousin (who you might have seen in my Bedwars vids). During that trip, I was able to beat Xenomorphosis on mobile for the first time, a MAJOR completion for me at the time, as I had a really bad phone, and it began overheating after many long hours of attempts. However, during that same trip, I also made what would be the FIRST version of this layout (the final clip). It was semi-inspired by the gameplay of Xenomorphosis, as seen in the UFO at the beginning, and also inspired by Omega by Darwin. After I created some gameplay, I let it fall by the wayside, and just moved on. Over time, I kept the level, and frequently played it for fun, reminding myself of what I created. Then I decided, "hey, why not remaster it?" So I did just that... or I tried to. In 2020, I was remastering a BUNCH of old layouts, like Polaris, Skybound Fury, Actinium, etc. However, the Omega layout remained untouched and unfinished, as the oldest layout I kept in my saved levels, besides Radium and Abyssal. So, I tried to remaster it, but decided to give up in favor of other levels at the time.
Fast forward to 2021, and I realized that I really should have finished this layout. It had a lot of potential, and I still had a clear vision of what I wanted it to be, back from 2018. Therefore, I set my mind to it, and actually finished it, while working on other projects like remastering ALL Gen 1 layouts, Glacial Spark and Delta Flow. Today marks the day it finally is uploaded and finished completely, and I am VERY happy to state that fact. I hope you guys enjoy this level as much as I did making it (over these years), and I really hope that I patched all the bugs out as well! Enjoy guys! :D
