The New Stepper motors run only at 0.8amps and the standard which if you are running a Creality 4.2.2 board with TMC2225 Drivers you can only put 0.86V into this Shinano SST36C1080 stepper motor. The standard settings for the STD 42-40 stepper motors are set at 1.1-1.2V which is over 30% past the max these motors were designed for. you must change these VRev settings now.
