0Recorded on 2-7-24. The definitive,original quirky RPG. Earthbound is also known as Mother 2,a sequel to Mother on the NES which we never got overseas. It's a very charming game by Shigesato Itoi,with a lot of heart and soul put into it. After naming our characters,the game begins. One night in Eagle Land,a meteorite crashes into a hill near Onett. This awakens our young hero Ness at his home nearby,and he goes to investigate. Near the top of the hill,he finds his "friend" and neighbor Pokey. He's trying to check out the area,but the cops have it barricaded. Returning home,Ness is again awoken later,but this time by Pokey. He says his brother Picky was at the hilltop,and he got left behind because Pokey ran off. So we'll have to go there and help him out. You can bring your dog King to help out a bit. Enemies on the way are Coil Snakes,Runaway Dogs,and Spiteful Crows. At the meteor,we find Picky,and a being called Buzz Buzz appears from the meteorite! He tells us of our destiny,and helps us defeat a Starman Junior that shows up. Our journey starts now!
