0After Koudelka meets Roger Bacon in the Graveyard,she's soon reunited with Edward and James in the Library! She mentions the deceased woman Elaine,who was the one who called Koudelka to this place for help. James had loved Elaine,but lacked the status or funds to marry her. Thus,he had let his friend Patrick marry her instead. She would later be murdered by thieves,while Patrick was away. Anyway,we have to do some backtracking now. We gotta go back to the area near the start of Disc 2,past the treasure storage room. We can now give Valna and Vigna their 2 dolls,which allows us to take the Green Key. It opens the door just next to them,which takes us to Charlotte's prison room. The party is attacked by possessed chairs and a bookcase there,but they aren't terribly tough. After the fight,Charlotte appears. If you found Sophia's Letters (Charlotte's mother) and prayed at Charlotte's grave earlier,Charlotte will be able to pass on in peace to the afterlife,and you'll get the Flare Brooch. If not,you have to fight a mutated Charlotte,and you'll get the less useful Star Brooch instead.
