Omi Plays Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars Part 1
2Recorded on 7-31-23. The precursor to Paper Mario on the Nintendo 64. This was the very first Mario RPG,and the last Mario game released for the Super Nintendo in 1996. A remake of this game is coming out in a few months! The game begins with Princess Peach visiting Mario at his home. However,Bowser ends up swooping down and kidnapping her,once again. Mario runs off to Bowser's Castle immediately to rescue her. The enemies here don't give Exp,Coins,or Items,so you don't have to fight them unless required. When you end up duking it out with Bowser,you simply have to target the Kinklink holding the chandelier to bring down the big bad Koopa. Before Mario can save the Princess,a giant sword crashes down from the sky into the castle,sending Mario flying! It can talk,and it calls itself Smithy,who intends to take over the Mushroom Kingdom! We can't do anything about him currently,so we're heading to Mushroom Way to make for the Castle. Goombas and Sky Troopas will be the main enemies you run into along the way,and you'll end up fighting your first Boss too: The Hammer Bros.! Defeat them and you'll get a hammer for Mario to equip! Better watch it,this guy knows about timed hits!
