Time for the next set of levels,set in the Mysterious Age. First up is the Thick Jungle stage. You'll get a new Gadget at the start,the Monkey Radar. This allows you to track where Monkeys are hiding,and also gives detailed information on their stats. In Thick Jungle,this is the 1st stage where you'll run into Apes packing heat! They're very trigger happy,and won't hesitate to go blat blat with their guns. There's also a segment with a row boat,where you'll need to rotate both Dualshock sticks to row it effectively. The 2nd stage is called the Dark Ruins. Monkey near the start here wearing Blue Pants,which means it's a fast runner. I had an unfortunate crash here,but came back from it. Got some Apes in the Ruins,including one wearing Green Pants. These Apes tend to have goggles to see further away,and are armed with a backpack with heat-seeking missiles. The 3rd stage of this age is the Cryptic Relics. You'll gain another Gadget here,the Slingback Shooter! Now Spike has a ranged attack! You'll need it to hit distant switches,and buttons behind gates in Cryptic Relics.
