Cara a cara, muy de frente, en tus brazos me sentía.
Lo bonito se tornó a una lucha profunda.
Mi vida entera se tornó.
Nunca nos dijiste que caminaríamos sobre pétalos de rosa.
Pues este mundo es pasajero, y todo tiene su final.
Carga tu cruz y sígueme, esas fueron tus palabras.
Yo he vencido al mundo, esfuérzate y tu también vencerás.

Everything was in your hands, everything that was and everything that is.
I remember that afternoon, when everything was changed. Not according to my desire, but according to your power.
One afternoon in December, a Brilliant Sun.
It moved in a thousand colors, and your glory I could see.
The clouds parted! I thought that I would see you.
Face to face, oh so close, I could sense your embrace.
What was beautiful became a terrible fight.
My entire life was changed.
You never told us we would walk over rose petals.
For this world is passing, and everything has its end.
“Take up your cross and follow Me,” those were your words.
“I have overcome the world; be courageous and you too shall overcome.”
