In this prequel demo to the main story of One Fenix Down, an indie JRPG being developed by Regalcraft Games, rumors of someone seeking something called the spiritstones has brought the lupuman Chichioku to the human kingdom of Torloria to investigate, but a sudden attack by dracokin from the Goa Empire interrupts the investigation. Chichioku tries to help despite having no love for humans, but even though the dracokin commander is defeated, the attack doesn't stop. A lone messenger escapes and brings word to others about the attack and preparations are made, but will they be enough to face down the Goa invasion?
This demo of One Fenix Down is so incredible, from the interesting combat abilities to the great artwork of the characters to the very well done and incredibly nostalgic soundtrack. We don't get much time to look at the world and the people in it, but from the glimpse we have in the demo, it seems that there is a very diverse bunch of people, both human and not, populating the world, and I love seeing variety in games. The demo does such a good job of teasing some information and leaving the player wanting to know more, I'm definitely going to be wishlisting this game on Steam when it comes out over there.
