Morbid Metal is an action rogue-lite game, in which players can shapeshift between 4 different characters in real-time, all with unique active abilities and attacks. Progression consists on semi-procedurally generated levels in which players fight through hordes of enemies and bosses in various environmental biomes. Players can upgrade characters to be progressively stronger after defeating every horde or boss. It is also possible to permanently unlock and upgrade characters to grow more powerful each time. Morbid Metal is being developed by SCREEN JUICE and is scheduled for release by Ubisoft on August 20, 2025.
