SOFTWARE USED:

✦ Autodesk's Maya LT - please don't learn Maya if you're new to 3D, Blender is much better! and Free! and not run by an exploitative evil mega corp! (I will try to learn Blender this year fr)

✦ Photoshop - haaah.. similar story here, you can get the same results using Clip Studio Paint or any other painting application that you're comfortable with!

✦ Unity - you need this to convert your finished FBX model into a VRM, which is like an avatar file type. This is where you make all the bones jiggly.

✦ VSeeFace - face tracking software, this is how I'm able to move on stream.

I feel like the tools don't matter so much, just pick what works for you and your workflow.
