One Way Ticket: The Visual Novel Game On Nintendo Switch (Chapter 2.1)
Part 4 my doop! I never want to work on a fishing boat.. This is the start of chapter 2 of the visual novel game One Way Ticket on nintendo switch. I am a noted man (probably?), but even I get fed up with the level of mysogynistic insults that are exchanged between the crew.
Pro tip: Being a girl is not bad, unless you are a male chauvinist.
Chapters:
00:00 Is this really an insult???
01:28 Man on Man Violence
03:13 Phone calls
05:58 I will never be as cool as this guy
07:50 Cafeteria
13:07 Saeki has a past
16:07 more Phone calls
19:47 It turns out the captain is bad
Visual novels, which are basically just choose your own adventure games with some limited animations, are a type of game that are VERY popular in East Asia but have not become a major mainstay of the market in the Americas, outside of a small circle of devoted fans.
The Ninento Switch is an excellent platform for visual novels, particularly because most of them can be played offline.
One way Ticket is a murder mystery visual novel, which up to this point has not involved a lot of choices. Although it is slow moving, in subsequent chapters the game will speed up considerably. Most of the characters are introduced in chapter 1 and already there are hints that something is not quite right on horizon (Sky line???).
