OOTP 22 Ep 38: Dodgers Challenge: Josiah Gray shuts down Cards, NLCS tied at two games a piece
Josiah Gray is dominate through six innings and provides our bats enough to time to get warmed up.
Jarred Kelenic, Andres Gimenez and Cristian Pache all homer in the final four innings.
In this play-through series we have traded all players on the Dodgers’ active roster prior to the start of the 2021 season. Every. Single. One.
We’re only allowed to acquire players with fewer than 81 games played in the Major Leagues.
Why are we doing this? Well, first, don’t we all have a little Dodgers fatigue at this point?
It’s been the same for the last decade — construct great roster, suffer through shaky playoff performances, lose, rinse and repeat, excluding last year’s Covid Championship. Let’s see if we can do better. And if we fail, we ruin the Dodgers. It’s a win-win.
It’ll also be great to see how the dispersion of the high-end talent from our active roster will impact the Major League landscape for years to come…
Also, if you’re like me, you love more than one sport. So listen to "Football: A Podcast."
It’s a podcast that my friends and I produce. We’re a dozen episodes in and we've received encouraging feedback. We'll be discussing Fantasy Football and our team-by-team deep dives until the start of the season.
This is not cookie-cutter analysis.
