Sorry about the quality. Vista won't let me stream video from my camcorder, so I had to record my video from my phone. In case you're unable to hear me, here is the transcript I was reading from:

Hello, this is Mike Manasco. This video is intended as an open letter to the British Broadcasting Corporation and is specifically directed at the creative forces behind one of the best science fiction television programmes, "Doctor Who." I have an idea I would like to share with you, and I hope that you use it.

As you know, the Doctor is in his eleventh incarnation and has two more regenerations before he actually dies. I have thought of a way to add more regenerations to his life in order to keep the programme running for a bit longer. Bring back K'Anpo Rimpoche from "Planet of the Spiders." Now you're probably looking at me, knowing that you have already established that the Doctor is the last of the Time Lords and he would have sensed the presence of another Time Lord. But think about this: K'Anpo could astrally project his future incarnation, which takes an extreme amount of mental ability to do. So, it is possible that he could mentally conceal himself from other Time Lords. (As you may also recall, the Doctor didn't instantly recognize him when they met.) And because he was a monk, a pacifist, I strongly doubt that he participated in the last great time war. (And due to the fact that his exile was self-imposed and going back to the point about concealing himself, I also doubt he was summoned, or even knew about the war.)

Now, with that being said, you could write a story where the Doctor encounters K'Anpo Rimpoche in his recent incarnation. Since he hasn't lived as adventurous a life as the Doctor has, you could say that he could be his fourth or fifth incarnation. And whether you want to identify him as K'Anpo right away or keep it a secret until the very end, I will leave that to the professionals. Anyway during his adventure with the Doctor, K'Anpo becomes fatally wounded, on the verge of regeneration. And during his final moments of this incarnation, K'Anpo gives a dramatic speech about in all his millennia of existence, there is one solid, indisputable truth that he has found. When the Doctor asks him what it is, he replies, "Every person, every planet, every galaxy...needs the Doctor!" And then he grabs the Doctor as the regenerative energies surge out of his body, being absorbed the Doctor. The Doctor protests, knowing that K'Anpo is actually sacrificing himself and passing his remaining regenerations to the Doctor, allowing him to continue the work he's doing.

That's basically the rough idea I have, since I'm not a writer. If you think this idea is workable, I would be so thrilled. I'm not asking for any financial gain from this, I just want to see the episode made. There might be a legal hurdle, since K'Anpo Rimpoche was created by the late Robert Sloman. If there isn't a problem, then I would really love to see how the writers use this idea. I hope that I get a small mention in the audio commentary or a portion of this video is used in the episode's "Confidential" companion programme.

Thank you for your time, and I hope to see this idea come to fruition. Take care, everyone.
