OpenBoR games: Final Double Dragon (2024 version) playthrough - Extended route + true ending
19This month Gabo-Hanzo finally released the updated version of his recent OpenBoR project.
Once again I am playing Final Double Dragon, which is the last game from the Revolution-Gaiden saga. We may even see the lore of the entire saga he had made through almost two decades.
At the moment we got the 2024 version, so we may still expect the future updates of the one.
This time got the extrended route named "Dragon master" with more stages and playable characters, which we may unlock after completing the first route named "Warrior", which is the beginner one. The one has also an ending, that will show you how this saga would end. At the moment we got only Spanish version of this game.
Even though he made much more of the playable characters in his private version, we in the public version got only the ones, who are featured in the game's story. Besides the canon characters and fan characters we got also the other protagonists from: Hokuto no Ken, Prisoners of War, Combatribes, Bad Dudes, Final Fight, Kunio and Renegade.
A reason why there are no weapons to collect unlike in the previous projects is, that the heroes have the variety of special moves including the supers.
I have to say, that besides Art of Fighting: Trouble in South Town this one is an another one of the longest OpenBoR playthrough I had ever recorded so far.
