A few simple screen transitions. These transitions use a technique that consists of a greyscale image with varying shades that is used as an atlas to determine which pixels to sample from the sampler. As the lifetime of the transitions increases, pixels with higher color values begin to pass, causing more of the sampler to be drawn. This technique is great for simple transitions but is binary in nature as each pixel can only change once, so nothing more complex than source pixel to destination pixel is possible.
