Operation Europe: North Africa War Part 5: Making The Best Use of Bad Units
1After many years, we're back with Operation Europe, a brilliant strategy game from Koei. North African Front is my least favorite, because of all the mines. For many of you, this game may not be your cup of tea, but for tactical game guys like me, you may fall in love with what you see.
Sun Tzu would believe that any force can be beaten, that one needs to know yourself and your limitations, and that of your foe, before you strike. I know that Italians can't go blow for blow with the british. I tried it already. From here on, I take a more indirect approach, you see here, three battles where I basically take my shots, using infantry as blocking force, and retreat.
Like this, the Italians whittle away a superior force. This is how you win this scenario, might work in France too, never tried it there.
