Orbiter 2010 - Learn With Me #1 (Part 1) - Mars to Jupiter in the XR5 Vanguard [TransX]
Playlist: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPu_SHPaJzs6dcUW8f-fSqume-XJrbSL1
This video is the first in a new series I am calling, "Learn With Me." The idea of these types of videos is that I will be trying new things that I have little or no experience with. As such, I will make a lot of mistakes, things will be inefficient, and I expect there will be a lot of failures.
I am recording videos of these learning experiences so the viewer can watch my thought process and hopefully learn from my mistakes.
In this video I am taking the XR5 Vanguard from the Olympus base on Mars out to Jupiter. I do not have much experience with the XR5, nor do I have much experience taking off and getting into orbit around Mars.
This is not a tutorial. This is just me working with Orbiter and thinking out loud while doing it. If you're watching with the intent of learning something, then hopefully you can pick up some tips by watching me.

Common questions I get: What screen recording software do you use? What joystick do you use? What add-ons do you use? Where can I find the XR2 Ravenstar? Where do I download Orbiter? And much, much more. It's all answered in the FAQ I set up at this link (the link is a google document):
