This video was recorded Sunday, December 30, 2012

Sorry about the rough, raspy voice. This video was recorded 6 months before I had my double lung transplant. I had constant throat infections before the transplant.

I had a hard time getting this XR2 Rescue Mission video recorded. I started to record it more than 5 times and had to give up within just 5 or 6 minutes because my throat wasn't cooperating. On another attempt, I recorded for more than 25 minutes and then had to give up because my voice completely gave out before I could finish recording Part 1. So even though my voice sounds rough throughout this video, I'm afraid it will have to do.

I got the idea for this mission after trying Dimitris' (dgatsoulis) ISS to Mir challenge that he posted on Orbiter-Forum back in June, 2012.

I would also like to thank Dimitris for helping me refine the scenario for this rescue mission video. Before making the video, I sent him the scenario I made and he offered a couple of great suggestions that really helped improve the mission.

Common questions I get: What screen recording software do you use? What joystick do you use? What add-ons do you use? Where can I find the XR2 Ravenstar? Where do I download Orbiter? And much, much more. It's all answered in the FAQ I set up at this link (the link is a google document):
