Redoing this because I wanted to do the run again without using some of the strategies I used in the last run. Accessories like death ring won't be used, I'm going to use Nitesco less, and most importantly, I'll be completing every area in one video rather than segmenting like I did before. All bosses will be no damaged too like before. This won't be coming out as fast as before since I'm playing other stuff right now, but I'll probably try to do one area per day.

This took 7 HOURS to do, and I died over 300+ times to this area alone. Most of those came from the garbage Death fight. And you know what's worse? OBS eventually decided to stop recording my audio well into my attempts, and I never took notice. So yeah, that's why the audio is completely fucked here because I needed to add the music in myself, which I think I did a decent job at doing. I don't think I've ever died this much against any boss in any other game I've played, and I've done so many challenge runs/playthroughs on higher difficulties. This fight is just so awful.

The RNG of this fight is just so heavily stacked against your favor. Rapidus Fio is the only way you're going to take care of the baby scythes coming after you as it even gets rid of scythes that spawn on top of you. You can also use Scutum as others who have uploaded their runs have shown, but I wanted to try something different as I used Scutum last time. Even then, that combo only works well with Nitesco which I did not want to use. The problem is, you have to keep moving in order for Rapidus Fio to be active, and this leads to so many issues. The main way I was getting hit here was him cornering me with his horizontal dash attack and then a baby scythe blocking my only exit. Or, he could corner me, I try to move to the center of the arena, and Death just decides to lower himself to the floor for his scythe burst attack causing me to take contact damage. It's insane how you can know how to dodge every single one of his attacks, but his positioning is what ultimately decides if you get hit or not. I despise this fight so much, and whenever I replay level 1, I'm using Death Ring and Dominius agony because I just do not have the patience to spend ages on this fight a second time. Dracula on Richter Mode Level 1 was easier than this shit.

It's upsetting that both areas where Tower of Dolls plays in the series are absolute garbage. It's awful in Chronicles because the dolls themselves have random movements that are completely uncontrollable, and this area has Medusa Heads and Magnes points. Luckily, Rapidus Fio gets rid of most of the threats in this area, but it still is rng whether or not a Medusa Head spawns infront of you after you launch yourself from a Magnes point.

Also, I don't know how I didn't get hit at 4:19. His slash was clearly hitting me there, and I didn't immediately have Rapidus Fio on for the baby scythes near the ground. That attack is just super weird.
