Well it's been two weeks since I last played this game, so now it's time to do the following:
1) Relearn the controls of all that I've learned thus far
B) Reexplore past areas using the new skills I've learned since then, and
III) FINALLY get back to progression in the game!
...In all honesty, since this is a Metroidvania game, that's pretty much the idea of how I'll keep playing this game. But now we do what we can to secure the 2nd Element, the Element of the Winds!
