A small bit of my Ori and the Will of the Wisps play through on hard difficulty. Fighting Kwolok in Luma Pools.
A tough fight on Hard. Well, it was for me anyway!
Let me start by saying I did not beat this boss first go, it took me a while to get good enough. The video is a splice of my first attempt to get to the boss, then a video of the winning fight.

My final loadout of spirit shards are as follows:-
Triple Jump
Resilience(20%)
Energy Harvest
Quickshot
Last Stand
Reckless(25%)

I used Reckless because player damage against this boss on hard difficulty is so pitiful.
I chose Spirit Arc with Quickshot over the others because it is ranged and appeared to be the best with regard to damage/energy usage ratio. It also has the quickest animation, so you can get out of it fast if you need to dodge, jump etc..

Couple of tips to anyone that wants them:-
This boss has tells before every attack, so it is best to learn them, and learn how much time you have between his attacks.
During Phase 1, if he sits down on the other side of the spike pit, he is about to lob a projectile. If you bash this back at him you will get a fairly large window of attack opportunity. The biggest window in which to unleash on him is at the end of phase 1, he hangs his head down with his tongue dangling. Hit him as much as you can during this window.
During phase 2, in the water be careful of the spikes on the left side wall. There are also spikes above the water on the right side, so be careful if you decide to use bash on the right. I tried to do most of my aerial attacks on the left side if possible. When the boss spits projectiles with purple trails, both the projectile and the trail it leaves behind will cause damage, so wait for the trail to subside before moving anywhere near it.

Lastly, sorry for the buzzing during the video. I started getting the audio glitch when I was recording gameplay. Weird!
