5It's worth noting that I have not looked up ANYTHING about this game, so I'm sure that there are areas that can be done quicker, skipped, so on and so forth but all the strats used in this run are purely my own that I found through repeated attempts, practice, messing around and well... luck in some cases. Messy as it was in places, I'm proud of this run.
I've actually uploaded three of the most devastating failed runs if you wanted to see the most heartbreaking moments, just because I think I was actually playing pretty well, and it'd be a shame to just bin those recordings.

18:36 - Shame he fell off the platform, you can low slash him to the lower platform on the opposite side then use him to get back out with a dash into a jump reset, skipping the walk around.
21:09 - Took a lot of stupid damage here, but it's because I was trying something out. The plan was to draw him to the right, then try and use jump resets to get high enough to get out of the arena, I gave up tho, not worth it.
29:13 - No High and Dry this run, it wouldn't let me dash.
49:30 - Originally I used to do Baur's Reach last and Mouldwood first, just because that's what I'd do in a regular play-through. However, I kept dying in Mouldwood because the area is brutal and after tweaking the order of bits around I found out that the burst is super effective against Kwolok later on. Plus it allows Ori to get a bit tankier ready for Mouldwood later.
55:49 - This little douche takes my vote for most horrible jump in the game. Unless I'm doing it wrong and you can disable him. Kills you if you get snapped, also instantly kills you if you're beside him as he opens his mouth back up. Very small window to work with.
59:10 - There were some weird sound effects in that avalanche sequence that I never noticed on all of my other runs. Or maybe I was closer to the blizzard than usual. Freaked me a bit, sounds like it was whispering at me.
1:03:54 - I really feel like they could do with increasing the frequency of bubbles here, can be horrible stalling at the top of this room.
1:13:55 - You see the water go all fucky? Second time that's happened to me, but last time my controller died too... I hope that's the recording software not my pc.
1:15:53 - You can use the burst to hover up to that second vine, but I couldn't pull it off this time.
1:20:10 - My least favorite area. One of few that I actually sat down for hours to practice. Died here at the entrance three runs in a row, so sat down and figured out a better way to proceed. That's how I discovered shooting the branch can kill the explosive thing even though there's no direct contact.
1:31:59 - You don't hear it, but imagine someone calling you 5 times while you're fighting a boss that has ended no less than 7 one life runs, plus forced you to change the entire route you make, then sending you a discord message to answer your phone and for all that stress it's about a pair of trainers... So yeah sorry about the pause, someone REALLY wanted to talk to me.
1:47:38 - nononoNONONO DON'TYOUFCKN'DARE!
1:50:55 - I'm aware you can break the shield, but I don't like to. They start punching when you destroy the shield which can be awkward to play around.
1:59:29 - Dear fucking god help me
2:00:33 - Does this look stressful to you? Because it fucking was.
2:01:43 - Personal favorite bit of every run. It's genuinely fun to play the floor is lava and satisfying to break him apart. Nice chill-out before the home stretch.
2:12:45 - You do not know how fucking terrified I was here, twice I've died at this final stretch 2 or 3 hits away from victory.
2:29:14 - Umm, what happened to all my health? I had way more than that, had to quit out to make sure I'd clicked on the right account.
