4Today we are playing the Original 1989 Tetris® game on the current updated version of Tetris Effect: Connected version 2.01. The gameplay seen here is on the PS4. This unlock-able version is not permanent. It was given to us to coincide with the movie.
Now, there is a way to unlock Original 1984 Russian Version of Tetris permanently.
*** UNLOCK IT PERMANENTLY *** In the title screen where it reads ‘Press any button’, enter the Old School Konami Code: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Circle, X (PS4) or Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A (Xbox/Nintendo Switch). It will bring you to a black screen with a code you need to enter at the bottom. Use the Up/Down Arrow button to Enter this code: 06061984. Use the Left/Right Arrow button to go to the next number. The code: 06061984 is the creation date of the game. Once done hit the X button. Then it will say "1984" Unlocked.

Tetris Effect is a block-dropping arcade-styled puzzle video game developed by Japanese studios Monstars and Resonair and published by Enhance Games. The game was released worldwide exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on November 9, 2018, and features support for the PlayStation VR.
