Welcome to our first look at and review of Star Trek: Infinite. Star Trek: Infinite is a grand strategy game built on the Stellaris engine in the Star Trek universe. In this game you get to live out your dreams of running the Star Trek faction of your choosing, build amazing fleets, and participate in space battles of ultimate proportions. Or so they say anyways.

Today I take a look at the game and discuss my thoughts on how the game plays, and what the differences are between it and its inspiration Stellaris. While I am a massive Stellaris fan, I can say this game offers a few unique and new features that could be well enjoyed, while appealing to those that may be fans of the Star Trek universe. But the question is: Is it worth it, and could you just mod Stellaris instead?

The game is NOT receiving the best of reviews on Steam, but I would still suggest looking into it, and perhaps giving it a chance if you are interested in Star Trek and Stellaris. I can't say it's better than Stellaris, but it certainly may scratch an itch for some folks.
