Our Son is a Scavenger!
0We've got some serious pecan-picking pandemonium happening over here! My wife, the ultimate teacher extraordinaire, is always running late after school, and we finally figured out the reason - and it's not because she is overworked. Mind you, she is a teacher - so she is overworked, too, but that is not the reason she is late every day. It's because of our son and his love for pecans.
That's right, folks. Our little guy has an insatiable appetite for those scrumptious, shell-encased goodies, and he simply can't resist picking them up along the way to the car. It's like he's on a mission to collect every single pecan in the school parking lot. Actually, while he enjoys them he likes giving them away more than eating them. To daddy, or mommy, or anyone else - really... lol
My wife takes us on a quick tour of the pecan hotspots around the school and shows us the massive collection our son has amassed. It's a pecan paradise, and we're all just living in it.
Our son is such a little scavenger! That said, I don't mind the free pecans!
