8The other day, a group of burly highway crew workers barged into my backyard and attacked my beautiful trees with their electric hedge trimmers. Their goal? To make sure the nearby power lines were safe from any rogue branches. Gather around folks, it's time for a little story!
Now, I know this was all for safety reasons, but let me tell you, those tree-trimming bandits took way too much off the top and left my yard looking like a crime scene. There were more branches lying around than at a Boy Scouts camp, and let's just say it was not a pretty sight. They put ME to work, cleaning my OWN yard! lol, I mean, seriously, how hard is it to dispose of a few tree limbs without leaving behind a trail of debris? I dunno, maybe that's not part of the job, but I kinda thought it is...
They even killed our plants!!! (kidding)
