At least, I think that's what caused the out of bounds to happen. So maybe try with some mobs coming towards you in a corner, then do the blast shot with right mouse while backing into the corner. Could be useful to speedrunners at some point, but it wasn't for me - after so much I couldn't move any further but still interesting. Teleport also wouldn't work.
