I am aware of the distortion and god awful volume levels! They will be fixed in next version.
This is an idea for a tune that I ended up with while talking to Wyldfox2007! I was sat there, fiddling with the piano roll editor for a VST I helped create (Private, please don't ask for a copy!) and this tune immediately started to come together as I added notes on to the screen as I heard them in my head. xD
The strings are beautiful (According to the 3 people that have heard this before I uploaded it), and the MJ - Beat it style GONGs seem to take a nice place within the track as a whole, but I need to refine that melody, and get some lessons in dubstep drum mastering. I outright refuse to download someone elses drum sounds. I will use my own, and I will place effects on them as Dubstep as a genre defines.
Do you think it should be faster? Slower?
The track may become the title screen music for WyldFoxSoft's new game in production, "Virus Battle" (Name is a placeholder, and is subject to change).
I need to equalize the various instruments more, and learn more about sidechaining. I've done a very basic job of it in this one, and if you understand Sidechaining, and how to do it in Fruity Loops FLStudio 10, please contact me! ^^ If you know what effects and EQ settings need to be attached to the drums to make it more punchy, please contact me!
If you know of a good way to get a really strong, gutteral, almost vowel-like BASSLINE, please contact me!
