1.4.4 update: looks like this method doesn't work anymore. I haven't tested to see if there is any adjustment that can be made that will keep the strategy alive. Looks like you will have to save the cheese until the 'Ron can be broken again. Good luck. *UPDATE* At 5:43 I show the track not connecting at the bottom, this is actually not a good idea, it's possible to clip through the track when airborne, best to connect it.
ALSO I found that the best distance between the surface of the water and the house is 312 tiles, I usually get 312 rope and go up to measure it. Sometimes the water is too high and you end up in space 312 tiles up. If you slow-fall at that height, you will need to wall off a section in the ocean (with dirt or something) so you can dig down and lower the section of ocean you fall into.
