We jump into Outpost Zero gameplay to get first impressions just before the game releases into early access. Outpost Zero is a single or multiplayer game (offline or online) where you have to survive on a planet, build a base, fight off pirates (and other players) and construct an army of drones to do all your work for you!
Designed mainly as an online multiplayer game but playable offline too, Outpost Zero gameplay has a heavy PvE element as well as potential PvP. You get to fight the local wildlife - some hostile, some an easy source of raw materials - as well as regular pirate raids.
The USP of Outpost Zero gameplay is that once you're up and running, you can build loads of drones that can go out to mine raw resources, patrol your base against invaders, build the stuff you lay the foundations for and more, giving you time to get lost in the woods!
We discover Outpost Zero gameplay is still a little buggy as it launches into Early Access, but has potential as a fun multiplayer game.
