Outriders Square Enix's shooter-looter postponed to February 2021?
When it was announced a few weeks ago, Outriders clearly left many players unhappy. First next-gen title announced by Square Enix, the RPG shooter developed by People Can Fly has not yet convinced. Too generic, too “classic”, it will take much more to seduce and draw attention to Outriders. With a video that puts aside the action to linger on the world of the game perhaps?
In any case, this is what Square Enix offers today. With a new video of just over three minutes, the publisher invites us to immerse ourselves in the world of Enoch. Planet colonized by humanity, this world reacted to our presence by transforming itself into a hostile environment. Forests and mountains, so peaceful decades ago, are now home to living beings made to kill. The local flora and fauna has indeed evolved following the arrival of man and Enoch therefore does not intend to be invaded without replying.
We thus discover very varied and rather inspired decorations. Forests, mountains, deserts or even caves follow one another and display a certain wealth. We also note that the human presence is at least developed with huge cities, vehicles and other observable infrastructure. So all this remains very empty and is obviously not a guarantee of the quality of the final title, but we must admit that it is already more interesting than the previous gameplay video. In any case, this promises to make the players travel.
