OK, don't get too excited, because you still can't actually get in game yet, buuuut, it's still pretty awesome seeing the actual arcade Chihiro version of Outrun 2 (well, the beta at any rate) loading up this far on an emulator. EDIT:

The Sega Chihiro arcade hardware was, basically an original Xbox with extra RAM. Although the Sega Lindbergh (the successor to the Chihiro board) Outrun 2 SP version has been hacked to work on PCs now in Teknoparrot (if you've got Windows 10 that is, Windows 7 Luddites like me can't play it), the original Chihiro version of Outrun 2 has never been emulated (although this Beta version is playable on a modded original Xbox that's been upgraded with extra RAM). So, seeing it boot up this far is pretty exciting if you're a massive Outrun geek like wot I is.
