Microsoft reported earnings for its Fiscal Year 2021 Q2. Xbox revenue for the period was $43. The company did not release any specific sales numbers. Microsoft did not share any numbers for its Xbox Game Pass subscribers or Xbox Live users. This is the first earnings release since it launched the Xbox Series X|S consoles in November. The release of those systems helped overall Xbox hardware sales jump by 86%. Hardware revenue could have been higher been it not for product shortages. Microsoft posted a profit of $15.5 billion (+33%) for the quarter.
