Prior to the overclocking my 3700x: with boost enabled, the CPU targets a frequency of around 4.2 to 4.3ghz; but in this level of Crysis 3, my CPU would downclock to 3.6ghz. So, I decided to overclock my 3700x so that it maintains a consistent 4.2ghz. I am using this section of Crysis 3 to stress test the CPU. This level is honestly the most CPU demanding level in any game I have seen so far - it has so many draw calls.
