Post match notes: Match making was incredibly bad everywhere today and didn't really have any fun unfortunately, but some days are like that when the match making system you're trying to work with doesn't really seem to work at all. Once again, skill-based match making where the enemy team has all the skill so much fun!

Beyond that, classic mode is still highlighting how bad Overwatch 2 is to me. Not just 5v5, not just because the game is very basic and stripped off all the things that were fun in Overwatch 1, but just the way hit recognition works, how laggy everything feels in Overwatch 2 compared to classic mode. Can't tell you how many times today I died, and the game is staring at a wall where the person that killed me should be, but isn't, because I'm around the corner. But unfortunately, it doesn't matter where I am on my screen if the game is so far behind and thinks I'm not.

These are all reasons why it's very hard for me to want to keep playing this game for long periods of time. The match making is inconsistent and the way the server is set up to handle connections doesn't work well with the type of game this is. No split-second reactions, projectiles flat out disappearing after you die because the game is behind and doesn't know you shot them, and whatever else. It's just a recipe for disaster and makes the game very hard to play for someone like me who is a low tier player and isn't perfect.

It's 2024 you can't tell me we don't have the technology to have near latency-less online games. Nobody wants to pay for anything like that though, regardless of how many billions of dollars a company may or may not have.
